Environmental Health Update: Third-Party Food Safety Audits
Under the Food Act 1984 (Vic), all Class 1 and some Class 2 food businesses that use an independent Food Safety Program (FSP) must be audited every 12 months by an approved Victorian food safety auditor.
These third-party audits ensure the business follows its FSP and meets the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code.
