Melton City Council is proud to offer subsidised business mentoring to help local businesses thrive.

This program connects you with experienced business mentors who understand the challenges of running a business and can provide strategic guidance and actionable advice tailored to your needs.

This program is proudly supported by Melton City Council and delivered in partnership with the Small Business Mentoring Service (SBMS).

Program Details

What is the cost?

  • $44 per mentoring session

Who is eligible?

  • Venture Melton Business Network members within the City of Melton. 

  • Must have an active ABN registration.

  • The business must be actively trading.

What you’ll receive

  • Two mentoring sessions (60–90 minutes each)

  • Just $44 per session (a saving of $133 off the regular price)

  • Personalised, one-on-one guidance from experienced business mentors

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Each business is limited to two subsidised mentoring sessions through the program.

  • Your mentor will provide a short pre-session questionnaire to help focus the discussion. To get the most value from your session, it’s helpful to come prepared with clear goals and be ready to openly discuss your business challenges.

  • After completing your subsidised sessions, you may choose to continue working with your mentor at standard SBMS rates.
