Environmental Health Renewals are coming soon
Melton City Council would like to remind all businesses registered under the Food Act 1984 and the Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008 that their annual registration renewal is due by 31 December 2025.
Renewal notices will be issued shortly to all registered businesses via email. To ensure your registration remains valid and uninterrupted, please review the following renewal requirements and payment options.
Renewal Requirements
To complete registration renewal, businesses must:
Sign and return the renewal notice to confirm continuation of registration.
Pay the applicable renewal fee before the due date.
Important: If you are no longer trading or planning to close your business, please notify Council as soon as possible so we can update our records accordingly.
Payment Options
We offer several convenient payment methods:
Online Payment via Health portal - Melton City Council Health Portal (LINK https://healthonline.melton.vic.gov.au/Account/Login.aspx)
Over-the-counter payment at the Municipal Offices in Melton or Caroline Springs Library
Payment request over the phone
Please note: Due to high call volumes during the renewal period, we strongly encourage businesses to use online or over-the-counter payment methods wherever possible.
Maintaining a current registration is essential for operating legally and ensuring Public Health standards are upheld.
If you have any questions or require assistance with the renewal process, please contact Council’s Environmental Health Unit on 03 9747 7200 or Health@melton.vic.gov.au
