The Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) have been advocating for and assisting Victorian-based business members for decades. Their consulting expertise in human and industrial relations, economic analysis, business and industry development and training are accessed by thousands of businesses each year.

Supported by a designated VCCI Relationship Consultant and working closely with Melton City Council, VCCI are committed to helping your business. 1.       Support Services

One of the most valuable services offered by VCCI is their popular Workplace Relations Advice line.

Their experienced team give City of Melton based members over-the-phone advice about human resources, workplace relations and OHS/WHS issues.

Use them as your virtual experts on issues such as:

  • Wages and award interpretation

  • Disciplinary processes

  • Performance management and termination

  • Personal illness and injury

  • Parental leave and flexible working arrangements

COVID-19 Support

Their operators are across the latest COVID-19 government guidelines and their effect on business.

The Victorian Chamber’s Health, Safety and Wellbeing team created a COVID-19 restart checklist for VCCI members to restart safely once restrictions ease.

There are two versions of this checklist - non-editable and editable - for VCCI members to customise based on their business needs.

2.       Training

The Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a leading training provider and registered training organisation that delivers over 700 courses annually.

Each course covers material that will build your capacity. From updating skill sets, advising on changing legal compliance matters, to dealing with WorkCover agents and return-to-work requirements.

Try their individual coaching and design customised training sessions for workplace teams.

Members enjoy a generous credit which is included with their free membership to use for Training and Consulting Services and other training including Virtual and Online Learning.

3.       Business briefings and updates

VCCI members receive regular briefings and updates about topics, issues and opportunities of relevance to Victorian businesses straight into their email inbox.

If you have a specific question in mind, try canvasing other VCCI members on the VCCI social media feeds or their website’s live chat function.

4.       Advocacy

If you have a particular issue within the business environment you operate in, VCCI regularly lobbies and advocates on behalf of it’s members to State and Federal government for improvement. It even has a small business task force that seeks to address the unique challenges that small businesses face in growing their operations and the workforce.

5.       Networking

Members enjoy free admission to exclusive members only networking events and forums where you can promote your products and services.
