Home Realty Co. was founded by Director and Officer in Effective Control, Hope King, with a simple goal—to create a real estate agency that puts people before property.
After more than a decade working across boutique and franchise agencies, Hope saw an opportunity to offer a more personalised, community-focused approach to real estate. Following the passing of her brother, Logan, in 2024, she decided to pursue her passion and establish an agency built on genuine relationships, trust and exceptional service.
The business is committed to breaking the traditional stereotype of real estate by showing clients that great service starts with being approachable, authentic and people first.
A lifelong resident of the City of Melton, Hope grew up in Rockbank and now lives in Kurunjang. Her strong connection to the community is reflected in Home Realty Co.'s ongoing support for local organisations, including Melton Valley Golf Club, Melton Mustangs Bowls Club, Kids World Childcare Centre Kurunjang and Melton Primary School.
The business also serves as a local collection point for Hope in a Suitcase, supporting children entering foster care, and raises funds for the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in memory of Hope's late brother.
Hope's career in real estate began unexpectedly while studying nursing, after taking an administrative role in a real estate office. She quickly discovered a passion for helping people through one of life's biggest milestones.
Starting a new business has presented challenges, particularly building a new brand, but Hope says the greatest surprise has been how much clients value genuine care and personalised service.
Home Realty Co. is focused on steadily growing its Property Management division, with plans to expand into sales in the future. Growth will remain deliberate, ensuring the personalised service and strong values that define the business are never compromised.
Operating as a remote agency, Home Realty Co. meets clients at their properties or local cafés, creating convenience for clients while supporting other local businesses. Through every interaction, the business remains committed to building trust, strengthening community connections and delivering a people-first approach to real estate.
