Member Spotlight: Business of the Year - Elite Tyre & Autocare, Melton
From a family garage to Business of the Year
What started in Warren and Linda Stevens’ family garage has grown into a thriving local business with three locations, more than 25 employees and a reputation that stretches well beyond Melton.
Elite Tyre & Autocare was recently named the 2026 City of Melton Business of the Year, recognising the people, passion and commitment behind a business that has continued to grow while staying firmly connected to its community.
Since establishing the business in 2011, Warren and Linda have built Elite Tyre & Autocare into much more than a tyre shop. Today, the business offers everything from tyres, wheels and wheel alignments through to servicing, mechanical repairs, suspension, brakes, diagnostics and engine repairs, as well as a 24-hour mobile tyre service.
A big part of that growth has been their willingness to keep evolving. The business has invested in new technology, equipment and customer services, including a customised website that allows customers to book online, receive quotes and even visualise different wheel packages on their own vehicle.
But while the business continues to grow, people remain at the centre of what Warren and Linda do.
Elite Tyre & Autocare has grown from two employees to a team of more than 25, creating local jobs and career opportunities along the way. The business also works with local schools and education providers to provide valuable work experience, including opportunities for students from Melton Specialist School and young people who may face barriers to entering the workforce.
Their commitment to the local community extends well beyond employment. Elite Tyre & Autocare supports a range of sporting clubs, schools, charities and community organisations, including Melton Football Netball Club, Melton Phoenix Soccer Club, Melton Hockey Club and Melton Bowls Club.
The business has recently expanded into Bacchus Marsh, joining its established Melton and Sunbury locations, while continuing to invest in its team, facilities and services.
For Warren and Linda, the Business of the Year award is a celebration of much more than business growth. It reflects the loyal customers, dedicated team, local partnerships and community relationships that have helped shape Elite Tyre & Autocare over the years.
From humble beginnings to a business recognised as one of the City of Melton’s best, Elite Tyre & Autocare is a great example of what can be achieved when hard work, family values and a genuine commitment to community come together.
Congratulations to Warren, Linda and the entire Elite Tyre & Autocare team on this well-deserved achievement!
