Ninety new seasonal jobs at Amazon Ravenhall
Amazon Australia has announced plans to onboard around 1,000 workers for the mid-year sales season, with seasonal jobs available at its fulfilment centres (FC) and Amazon Logistics sites across the country, including the Ravenhall FC.
The company is looking for workers with a range of experience and skill levels to help pick, pack and ship orders to customers across the country over the mid-year sales season which includes its own major event Prime Day in July.
Around 90 additional roles will be made available at Ravenhall.
A company spokesperson said seasonal opportunities may present a path to employment with, and a longer-term career at, Amazon.
“Amazon employees earn competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits including subsidised healthcare and paid parental leave – as well as opportunities to grow their career within the company,” they said.
The announcement of seasonal jobs follows a period of job creation as Amazon Australia continues to invest in its operations network.
This includes the onboarding of hundreds of associates at Amazon’s recently launched robotics site in Western Sydney, where people work collaboratively with advanced robotics technology in a high-tech, industry-leading workplace, and the creation of over 1,100 permanent operations roles in 2021.
