Western Region Health named Melton Business of the Year

The best and brightest local businesses were recognised and rewarded for their creativity, drive and professionalism at the 2023 City of Melton Business Excellence Awards.

This year’s awards program saw 10 of the community’s most innovative and successful businesses in retail, trade, health, services and more take home top honours for exceptional work in their respective fields.

The winners were announced at an awards ceremony at Windmill Gardens on
27 September.

Western Region Health won the prestigious Business of the Year award, while Pecks Road Café received the Mayoral Achievement award.

The Melton Business Excellence Awards program is in its 16th year and recognises local businesses and the contributions they make to the City of Melton.

City of Melton Mayor, Cr Lara Carli said all nominees could be proud of their innovation, resilience and the high standards they have set with their inspirational leadership over the past 12 months.

 “Our community continues to enjoy rapid growth, and that growth is underpinned by the talent and contributions of our finalists and all the businesses in the City of Melton,’’ she said.

 “I’m proud of the Melton Business Excellence Awards progam and the other platforms and initiatives Council provides to help businesses in the City of Melton shine.’’
