Big name retailers set to open at Burnside Park Hub

JB Hi-Fi Home, Baby Bunting, Furniture Traders and Guzman y Gomez are the latest retailers to be joining the newly opened Spotlight store at Burnside Park Hub.

The large format retail centre, with parking for over 370 cars, is located directly on the Western Highway near the intersection of Westwood Drive at Burnside.

Cameron Male, CEO of Ranfurlie Asset Management, said construction was well underway with Guzman y Gomez expected opening this month.

The remaining stores are anticipated to open by September this year and will be joined by a well-known national charity retailer, to be announced shortly.

“We are excited to bring these leading large format stores to the region, Mr Male said

“This will complement the adjacent neighbourhood shopping centre of Burnside Hub and collectively provide over 100 job opportunities to the local area.”

Burnside Park Hub is a large-format retail precinct currently under development by owner, Ranfurlie Asset Management.

The site sits 21km from the Melbourne CBD, with direct frontage to the busy Western Highway, adjacent to Burnside Hub Shopping Centre.

A new 3,500 square metre  Spotlight store opened late last year at the Burnside Park Hub precinct, on the corner of the Western Highway and Westwood Drive, formerly home to a Masters hardware outlet.

Launched in 2012, Ranfurlie Asset Management has grown to oversee a portfolio of retail and commercial properties spanning mixed use, large format and office.
