A Network for our Business People

Shining the light on the ‘people’ behind a business in the City Of Melton is what the Venture Melton Business Network is all about.

Established in 2017, the Economic Development Team at Council set out to make meaningful connections with the local business community.

The mission, to better understand their needs and implement support initiatives where they were needed most from a business owners perspective. It quickly became more than that.  In fact, it has since grown to be the most connected business network community in Australia.

A hub of vibrant business activity ranging from face to face meet ups, national keynote presenters, business pitching (pre & post COVID-19 restrictions), member learning & development opportunities, mentoring & promotional support. Business to business connections have not only turned into peer support but also long term business partnerships and referrals in many cases, the power of networking at its best.

The Venture Melton Business Network continues to grow, not only in numbers, but also from strength to strength in member support offerings. The next 6 months will see considerable investment in the network offering, including a highly promoted member business directory and increased member profiling.

Already there is a hub of member promotional activity on the Venture Melton Business Network Facebook page, and through our Buy Local Campaign. Soon, qualifying members will get even more exposure on the re-vamped Melton City Much More App. Business one on one support is set to become more specialised with digital marketing and business scaling up consultants joining the network team.

What’s not changing but growing, are also our valuable partnerships with the Victorian Chamber of Commerce, Business Victoria, local Victorian Police, large local industry and developers. This can only mean a thriving business network community.

It’s never been a better time to meet the people in the Venture Melton Business Network, and while the membership fee has been waived to support those hardest hit with COVID-19 restrictions it’s an even better time to try it for FREE.
