‍What started as a simple idea between friends has become one of Melbourne’s leading Pickleball venues, with The Real Dill creating a vibrant hub for sport, connection and community in Ravenhall.

‍Founded in October 2025, The Real Dill was born after co-founders discovered their passion for Pickleball and recognised the opportunity to create a dedicated space for the rapidly growing sport. After stumbling across an available warehouse on Eucumbene Drive, Ravenhall, the vision quickly became a reality.

‍Today, The Real Dill is a premier Pickleball destination in Melbourne’s west, offering more than just courts — it provides a place where people can connect, have fun and build lasting friendships.

‍Head of Business & Growth, Joseph Pardillo, said sport has always been a major part of his life, and the opportunity to combine competition, laughter and community made launching the business a natural next step.

The founders also have a strong connection to the City of Melton, having built their family life in Taylors Hill. Creating a space that brings people together locally has been a rewarding journey.

“The West will always be our side of town and Taylors Hill will forever be our home,” Joseph said. “Creating a place of connection in the community has been an absolute pleasure and dream.”

The Real Dill continues to grow through local partnerships, community initiatives and a range of events designed to bring players of all ages and experience levels together.

With tournaments, club battles, Youth Leagues, academies and more ‘Battle Royale’ social events planned, the future is looking exciting for this local business.
