Greenline Converting opens eco-friendly manufacturing plant in Norton Drive
A new manufacturing plant has just joined the ranks of Melton industry, set to power up local production of pre-moistened wet wipes made from natural and renewable materials such as bamboo, organic cotton and hemp.
Greenline Converting is the production and manufacturing company behind the online Progeny Stores, a family-owned business offering eco-friendly person care solutions including bamboo nappies, flushable wipes, compostable hand gloves.
Meeting with Greenline Converting Director Yunus Olatundun at his Norton Drive plant, it’s hard not to be impressed by his passion for engineering, manufacturing, sustainability and his desire to inspire young people to take up careers in these fields.
“We’ve put a lot of work into this building over the past six months and have made significant investments into brand new material processing and manufacturing technology,” Yunus explained.
“More than 95% of wet wipes brands sold in Australia come from overseas these days. That means we are shipping a quantum volume of water from overseas to the country”.
The Progeny Stores philosophy is about resource sustainable solutions and value for money, with an innovative and creative approach.

Greenline converting is focussed on both the domestic market, but also has a keen eye on overseas opportunities.
“I will be travelling to Singapore with a delegation of export-ready Australian companies in the coming months,” Yunus said.
“Singapore has a strong relationship with Australia and there is a genuine desire to access more of Australian’s quality and environmentally responsible products.”
