Conquering the Crisis: Studio of Success/Tuya Cosmetics

Juanita Vella is a hairdresser, beauty therapist, teacher of reflexology, aromatherapist, humanistic psychologist and herbal pharmacist.

She not only wants success for herself but for her clients to feel and look successful, hence the name of her business Studio of Success. She also has another business Tuya Cosmetics which she opened due to her love of cosmetics.

Juanita initially struggled through COVID because she felt that the lack of contact meant she would be letting her clients down. After some soul searching, she decided to contact her clients the old fashioned way - by mail - and made appointments with them to talk over the phone. Juanita empowered her clients to take care of their own skin by providing products and instruction booklets.

Juanita’s post pandemic advice is, “be positive and look after yourself first because you can’t help anyone else if you’re not right.”
