Junction Sixty Five: Melton's new retail landmark

Junction Sixty Five is Melton’s place for established and enduring retail.

Located in Melton’s East, Junction Sixty Five is geographically situated to benefit from the urban sprawl of Melburnians, ensuring businesses will be well positioned to take advantage of Melton’s evolution.

Retailers will be placed at the intersection of High Street, the Western Highway and Melton Highway, presenting unbeatable exposure. According to developer citinova and leasing agents CBRE, businesses can expect to benefit from approximately 77,000 daily car trips on the Western Highway, 26,000 daily trips on the Melton Highway and 13,000 daily trips on High Street as well as 180,000+ new residents over the next 20 years.

As a dual-frontage island site and with close proximity to neighbouring blue chip retailer Bunnings, Junction Sixty Five will provide a signature shopping experience in Melton across an expansive 8.49 hectares. Easily accessible from all corners, it will offer generous car parking and ease of movement, placing an emphasis on functionality to enhance the customer journey.

Landscaping will create an inviting welcome, while sustainable construction and solar panels on the roof accommodate changing business needs.

According to Jake Brooks, Development Manager at Citinova, demand from national brands and local operators has been very strong for both Junction Sixty Five and the adjacent Westpines development.

“Our masterplan plan is unique in that it accommodates frontage and signage opportunities on High Sreet and the Western Freeway due to the shape of the island site,” he said.

“We have designed the centre to cater for retailer requirements, with large shopfronts, unimpeded site lines, high facades, allowances for expansive corporate branding and functional loading areas.

“The design accommodates spaces for large format retail, as well as smaller retailer showrooms from 384sqm to 786sqm to ensure we obtain an excellent mix of retailers that create business synergy within our Homemaker Centre.

“We are interested in hearing from local retail businesses that want to benefit from the opportunity to be part of the extensive amenity that Junction Sixty Five and West Pines Melton are providing to the municipality.

“With Junction Sixty Five being an 8.5 hectare site, plus future opportunities in Stage 2 of our neighbouring Westpines development, we have good flexibility to cater to a variety of retailers requirements so if you are ready to take the next step, please get in touch with us.”

Once fully completed the developments are expected to provide approximately 250 local lobs, predominantly in retail, industrial and childcare sectors. This is expected to add $23,000,000 to the local economy annually.
