First National Real Estate

First National Real Estate Melton are changing the perception of Real Estate Agents by valuing “purpose over profit”.

Co-Director Jade Carberry says finding ways to engage and support Melton residents through donations, sponsorship and spreading kindness are key pillars of their business.

“We are not your average Real Estate Agency. At least that's our plan!”

First National Real Estate Melton opened in 2016, but in 2020 one of the founding business partners unexpectedly exited the business. Then in March, Covid-19 took the world by surprise.

With three kids home schooling, virtual real estate practices became a necessary opportunity for Justin Carberry and his wife and Co-Director, Jade Carberry, and they initiated a shift in the focus of the company toward improved digital marketing, cutting edge digital systems and a strengthened client focus.

“As a local, family-owned agency we have an inherent passion for our local area, strong ties to our community and an intimate understanding of our Melton market,” Jade says.

“We wanted the quality of our service and the level of care we bestow on our clients to set us apart from the others. We want to cultivate a team of inspired professionals who are committed to providing above and beyond customer service.

“‘Purpose over profit’ is our key value. We’re a results-based industry and real estate advice and expertise is what we do but our priority is always to give back to our community.  We love where we live.”

Jade said the company was committed to innovative, clever and cost-effective marketing, which includes social media as a pillar of its strategy.

“Social Media is instant and reaches customers on a wide scale – fast!  We love our social media platforms as tools for the marketing and advertising properties.”

“Showing up consistently with valuable content, builds trust. Understanding what your followers want to see is the key to providing value. We aim to do both at all times.

“First National encourages its clients to think outside the box when it comes to selling and buying property.”

Jade has just taken out the 2021 Digital Marketing award for Vic/Tas at the First National Awards and will now be in the running into win the National prize in May.

Active participation in the Melton community has been another rewarding area for the First National team.

“Over the past two years we have ensured that our most vulnerable clients were taken care of with basic supplies, vouchers and a friendly ear to talk to whilst in lockdown,” Jane says.

“We advertised for a local Food Bank and became a drop off point for food donations. Our office donated weekly to this Food Pantry to assist with the high level of demand.

“We have been and will continue to be super focused and creative when it comes to engaging the local community in the digital world while also creating tangible, real-world impact.”

You might want to catch up with the First National team at the upcoming Eynesbury Mothers Day Classic Fun Run, where the company will be sponsoring the event for the second year in a row, with their director lacing up the runners and on the day.

“We want to be here for a long time and be known to be a pillar of trust to our community,” Jade said.

“We love the City of Melton and we are excited about the future of our town.”
